Balcony Walk Grand Canyon

Arrival & Safety Briefing: The trek begins at Al Khateem on the Jabal Shams plateau. Upon arrival, you will prepare for the hike with a quick safety briefing and check your gear, including sturdy shoes, water, and sun protection.

Trek to Balcony Walk: You will follow the well-marked trail along the canyon edge, enjoying dramatic views of the canyon floor below and the towering peaks of Jabal Shams above. Along the way, there are several points to pause for photos or simply take in the breathtaking scenery.

Exploring Sab Bani Khamis: The trail leads to the abandoned village of Sab Bani Khamis, where you can explore the remnants of traditional stone houses and imagine life in the past. The village offers a spectacular vantage point for panoramic views of the canyon and surrounding plateau.

Return to Al Khateem: After exploring the village, you will retrace your steps along the Balcony Walk trail, experiencing the canyon from different perspectives before returning to the starting point at Al Khateem.
